Bulgaria is a very cheap place to buy land and property, but like everywhere else there are more expensive areas primarily depending on their location. A plot on the coast is 2-3 times more expensive than similar-sized parcel 20 miles inland. Additionally if it overlooks the sea, the price increases approximately to 20%. The prices of properties keep annual increase of 15%. Apartments and Houses: The interest varies from the Resort of Sunny Beach, which is on the coast as well as the smaller summer resorts.On the other hand a lot of investments were made in Bansko, Borovetz and Pamporovo, which are considered to be the most popular winter resorts in Bulgaria with best skiing facilities in the country. However there has been interest in the so called rural areas suitable mostly for the development of eco tourism. The prices of the houses there are really low but the main drawback of such properties is that they are located in remote places, mainly in the Mountains. New buildings and constructions: Many commentators of the economic situation in Bulgaria believe that it looks like a construction building site at the moment. The ongoing construction work can currently be seen not only in the capital city of Sofia but most of the main towns as well. Nevertheless how profitable it should be just make sure that they cover the European standards for safety. Houses for renovation: It has been popular within the last two or three years, especially amongst the UK citizens who just want a piece of quiet or a place to spend a relaxing holiday. Anyway this is a sector which offers new opportunities and profits and has a lot of prospects further on. Currently the prices of such properties are underestimated and in this respect they seem to be a good investment. |
